One of the things we love most about Timber Hill is our easygoing atmosphere. Our welcoming and casual setting promises a great time for both seasoned wine lovers and those new to the grape scene. We want all of our guests to feel right at home here and discover all that we have to offer. We encourage wine tasting so that you can get to know our wines, and find what fits you. We believe in the wine that we make, and we love to share it with our guests!
First things first – No reservations needed! We’re open seven days a week, ready to pour you a glass any time between 11am and 7pm from Monday to Thursday, 11am to 9pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and 11am to 5pm on Sundays. Whether it’s a spontaneous visit or a planned day out, our doors are open, inviting you to explore the world of Timber Hill wines.
Our wine tastings cost $6 for five 1-ounce pours, offering a chance to discover new flavors and find your personal favorites in an easy, affordable way. That’s the goal of wine tasting! Because at the end of the day, we want you to fall in love with every sip. Then you can order a glass or a bottle, confident that you’ve found your perfect match!
So, how does it work? Simple! We offer our wine tastings exclusively at our bar. Just walk in, come right up to our bar, and let our tasting room attendants know you’re here for a wine tasting. Our wine-tasting process is as easy-breezy as our atmosphere. You’ll be provided with a wine list, a glass, a pen, and a tasting sheet. Take your time perusing the extensive wine list. We have options ranging from red to white, sweet to dry, and everything in between – including specialty wines, fruit wines and seasonal features – there’s something for everyone!
Feeling overwhelmed by the options? No worries! Our staff is here to help. Whether you’re into bold reds or crisp whites, they can suggest wines similar to your preferences or share their personal favorites. We’re ready to guide you as little or as much as you would like through the tasting experience.
Once you’ve chosen your five wines, we’ll start pouring – one glass at a time, in the order you’ve selected. Feel free to jot down notes on your tasting sheet as you go, so you can remember which ones really hit the spot.
After you’ve savored each sip of your tasting, we encourage you to order a drink and stay awhile. Feel free to find a spot in any of our open seating areas to unwind, enjoy the vineyard views, and maybe even indulge in some delicious bites from our food menu.
When it’s time to bid farewell, simply swing by our retail area to check out. If any of the wines stole your heart, we’d be delighted to ring up bottles of your newfound favorites for you to take home. Our bottles range in price from $13 to 25.
