Local Spring Events for the Entire Family and a Day Out for the Adults
Here at the winery, we try to take in trips and adventures whenever we can fit it in. And although we won’t be heading anywhere for Spring Break 2018, we know many of you will be taking time off, away from the rigorous 9-5 schedule to refresh with your families, and hopefully a good bottle of wine (may we suggest the La Crescent, a light semi-dry white wine with crisp acidity rounded by apricot and tropical fruit aromas). For those of you who will be staying home for Spring Break, we thought we would offer a couple of local day trip ideas with the help of TravelWisconsin.com, for both families and adults.
For the Entire Family
- March 24: Janesville Performing Art Center’s Family Fest is a free, family friendly arts festival features local artists, performers and community organizations.
- March 25: East Troy Railroad’s Bunny Train departs on a ten-mile round trip ride including face painting and coloring, a stop at the Elegant Farmer, where live bunnies and chicks will be on display by local 4-H students.
- March 31: Milton’s Easter Egg scramble will again be at Schilberg Park and hosted by our friends at the Milton Area Chamber of Commerce. This is a free, family event.
Adults Only Day Out
If you are gearing up for an adult day out, join us at the winery on Saturday, March 24th from 11am-7pm for our Spring Break Bash! This adventure will take you to Hawaii and offer the perfect Spring Break party scene with happy hour specials, Prosecco Pong tournament and prizes, live music by Chris Kohn and Ken Curtis, and beach massage and bodywork sessions, and a Luau-inspired meal. We will provide the island fun as long as you arrive in Hawaiian style! RSVP to the event on Facebook.
No matter where you end up this Spring Break we invite you to share your adventure on Instagram @TimberHillWine and use the tag #SpringBreakWithTHW
