If you’ve been collecting wine corks (we know you have), it’s time to turn them into something adorable and useful! This DIY wine cork project is perfect for wine lovers who want to add a little greenery to their space—say hello to Wine Cork Succulent Magnets!
These mini planters are cute, eco-friendly, and make great gifts or keepsakes. Plus, they’re a fun way to reuse corks from your favorite Timber Hill bottles!
What You’ll Need:
Wine corks (real cork works best!)
Small magnets (strong enough to hold the weight)
Hot glue gun
Succulent clippings or tiny faux plants
Small knife or drill
Potting soil (if using real plants)
Step-by-Step Instructions:
1. Hollow Out the Corks
Use a knife or drill to carefully hollow out the top of each cork—about ½ inch deep. This will be the space for your plant.
2. Glue on the Magnets
Using a hot glue gun, attach a small magnet to the back of each cork. Let it dry completely before moving on.
3. Add Soil and Succulents
If you’re using real succulents, add a pinch of potting soil into the hollowed cork, then gently plant your succulent clipping. If using faux plants, just secure them in place with a dab of glue.
4. Display & Enjoy!
Pop them on your fridge, metal wine rack, or any magnetic surface. They’re a charming reminder of your favorite sips and your green thumb!
