Bacon Blue Cheese Salad

This weekend marks opening season for rifle hunting in Wisconsin.  It is also known as Widow’s Weekend, as all the lucky hunter’s wives become widows for the season!  Treat yourself to a nice Bacon Blue Cheese Salad, after the holiday spread. To go with our antler logo we have named our white blend Widow’s Weekend White.  It is a blend of Niagara and Aurora grapes.  Each provide a unique flavor profile when combined create the perfect combination of floral and fruit.

Our recipe this week pairs perfectly with Widow’s Weekend, La Crescent, and Muscat.  It is a robust salad, best served for a brunch, lunch, or a ladies day.  It’s also a great way to use up some of your leftover turkey from Thanksgiving too!
