As the weather gets warmer and Spring really gets “springy”, the mind tends to wander to picnics, cookouts and gatherings with friends and family. At Timber Hill, we look forward to the spring growing season and all the visitors that come to take in the winery, hang out on the patio and try our newest wine offerings. For right now, however, things are a bit different than they usually are. While we are saddened at the turn of events and people within our community and across the globe suffering with the Coronavirus, we still want to provide you the same wine that you love but to be enjoyed at home on your patio and not at Timber Hill’s.
So, how can you still enjoy Timber Hill Winery Wines? There are two ways. Firstly, we want to recommend our Herd Wine Club. The wine club ensures that, no matter the circumstances, you can enjoy a Timber Hill Winery wine all the time and at a discount. Members enjoy a 10 percent discount on bottle purchases, exclusive choices on new releases, and member only events and parties, when we are able to host them again, as well as a $10 birthday reward.
Our winemaker chooses a new wine for our club members. For those people who will have their wine shipped, the winemaker selects 3 wines which are sent out on a quarterly basis. Your membership can begin at any time of the month and is a great way to enjoy our new wines at home.
The winery is still open for pickups. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer tastings, tours or food at this time and our hours have changed to accomodate the governor’s request. Wine is still available for purchase and at the moment we are loving our Raspberry Rose – which practically shouts springtime. Our white wines are also perfect for an afternoon watching the flowers bloom on the back porch. If you are looking for a new favorite wine to try at home, while staying compliant with the new social distancing requests, please contact us to order and pickup. You can also do a happy dance and stay home because we offer local delivery as well!
We suggest checking the homepage of our website or following us on Facebook to keep up with any changes to our hours, as well as our newest releases, online events and offerings at the winery. We hope by summer to resume our usual winery events and enjoy a glass of wine with you on the patio.
